TUMC Drama Group

Thompson United Methodist Church offers a drama group for all ages.
Our group puts on popular Skit Sundays throughout the year (The Skit Sunday’s usual take
place on the fifth Sunday of the month) as well as a large annual production either for Christmas or Easter.
Some of our past Christmas and Easter plays have been: The Christmas Carol (2004, 2008)
The Lion the Witch and Wardrobe (2006) and two plays from the popular Christian author G.K. Chesterton, Magic (2006) and The Surprise (2007).
The drama group chooses uplifting plays that teach spiritual truths and that are engaging for both the actors and the audience.
We welcome participation from actors in all the communities surrounding the Thompson area.
